Cookie Policy
Last updated:
This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used by the cattura.ai website (the "Site"), owned by Sun Tech Srl, in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Cookie Guidelines issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority (measure no. 231/2021).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to the user's device (computer, tablet, smartphone), where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites on subsequent visits. Similar technologies (such as localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels) can perform similar functions and are covered by this policy.
2. Categories of cookies used
2.1 Technical cookies (strictly necessary)
Essential for the operation of the Site or for providing a service explicitly requested by the user. They do not require consent under art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code.
| Name | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| cattura.lang | localStorage | Permanent | Stores the language selected by the user (IT/EN/DE/ES/FR) |
| PHPSESSID | Session cookie | Session | Identifies the server-side HTTP session during submission of the demo request form |
2.2 Preference / functionality cookies
The Site does not currently use preference cookies other than the technical ones listed above.
2.3 Analytics cookies (consent required)
The Site uses Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Ltd.) with IP anonymisation and Google Consent Mode v2: analytics cookies are not set until the user grants explicit consent via the cookie banner. Without consent, Google only receives anonymous cookieless pings that do not allow user identification nor tracking over time.
| Name | Provider | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google (1st party) | 2 years | Distinguishes unique users (pseudonymised ID) |
| _ga_NBN2JG0WM8 | Google (1st party) | 2 years | Maintains GA4 session state |
| cattura.consent | localStorage | Permanent | Stores the user's choice (granted/denied) |
Legal basis: consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent can be withdrawn at any time by deleting
the cattura.consent cookie or the site data from the browser: on the next load
the banner will appear again. Data transfer: Google may process data outside the EEA;
Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
2.4 Google Ads marketing & conversion cookies (consent required)
The Site uses the Google Ads tag (ID AW-18103693029) to measure conversions
from Google advertising campaigns and, where configured, for remarketing. As with analytics, cookies
are not set until the user grants explicit consent via the banner (Consent Mode v2).
| Name | Provider | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google (1st party) | 90 days | Google Ads conversion attribution |
| _gcl_aw | Google (1st party) | 90 days | Stores the Google Ads click ID for conversion tracking |
| IDE / test_cookie | doubleclick.net (3rd party) | Up to 13 months | Remarketing and ad measurement, set only when remarketing lists are active |
Legal basis: consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We do not use data brokers nor Google Signals/Demographics integrations. Data transfer: Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
2.5 Session replay and heatmap (Microsoft Clarity — requires consent)
The Site uses Microsoft Clarity (provided by Microsoft Corporation) for aggregated
behavioural analytics: session recording, click/scroll heatmaps and detection of
frustration signals (rage click, dead click). Clarity applies default masking on input fields,
passwords and sensitive text; IP anonymised, no data sold to third parties. Clarity is also
consent-gated: the script is always loaded but records nothing until the user
accepts via the cookie banner (the clarity('consent') call is only invoked on Accept).
| Name | Provider | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| _clck | Microsoft (1st party) | 1 year | Pseudonymised user identifier for session analytics |
| _clsk | Microsoft (1st party) | 1 day | Links multiple pageviews within the same session |
| MUID / CLID | clarity.ms (3rd party) | 1 year | Microsoft user identifier used for metric aggregation |
| ANONCHK / SM | clarity.ms (3rd party) | Session / 10 min | Session integrity check and anti-XSRF |
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data transfer: Microsoft Corporation may process data outside the EEA; Microsoft is EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certified. Privacy policy: learn.microsoft.com/clarity/faq.
2.6 External resources loaded by the Site
Fonts (Inter, JetBrains Mono), CSS frameworks and static assets are served directly from the
cattura.ai domain. The third-party resources loaded are:
googletagmanager.com/gtag/js (Google, for GA4 section 2.3 and Google Ads section 2.4) and
clarity.ms/tag (Microsoft, for Clarity section 2.5). Before consent both scripts are
neutralised — GA4 via Consent Mode v2, Clarity by not invoking clarity('consent') — and
do not set identifying cookies.
3. How to manage cookies
Users can block, restrict or delete cookies through the settings of the browser in use. Disabling technical cookies may impair the proper functioning of the Site (for example the selected language will not be remembered between visits).
